Dedicated to Exceed Industry Standards

We go above and beyond to ensure that we are providing our clients with the absolute best standards of quality control and customer service. Our goal is to deliver a superior custom aluminum product that will exceed expectations. We maintain our focus on the application of the product itself, including all of the specifics surrounding its intended end use. We have discovered that the sooner we are able to get involved in the client’s design and development process, the more we are able to help them create a finished design that will meet their requirements. We take pride in our ability to become fully involved in the design and engineering process for every one of our customers’ projects.

Our team of highly trained, experienced, and skilled employees work diligently to create custom parts for our customers. The process for extrusion and fabrication begins with the design or selection of the profile or die that will be used to create the desired shape. We purchase our billet from several different suppliers, choosing to work only with 99.9 percent recyclable aluminum products. We pre-cut the billet that we receive from our suppliers in long lengths to the proper size for the order to minimize scrap. This helps to reduce costs for the customer and allows us to create a more accurate materials process based on the length and the weight of the profile. We pre-heat the materials to a specific temperature for proper extrusion and then push the aluminum at approximately 10,000,000 pounds of pressure through the die to create the desired shape.

Aluminum Extrusion and Fabrication

Once the parts have been extruded through our top of the line PLC control technology extrusion system, we inspect each piece one at a time to ensure consistent and dependable quality control. Any additional fabrication work that needs to be done to the custom extrusion design then moves to our fabrication department. Again, all of this work is done in-house at our Southeastern Massachusetts facility. CNC fabrication of both long and short parts, as well as punching, mitering, and precision sawing, can be completed at this time to achieve the client’s goals. By doing all of this at our own facility, we are able to continue to maintain quality control and exceed the industry’s best standards. We are also able to improve lead times by not having to ship it out to a third-party service provider and wait for it to return.

Secondary operations can be performed this time, such as vibratory or tumble deburring, which is performed on any order that includes punching or fabrication. We work to remove the small aluminum burrs, which can be left behind after this part of the custom extrusion design and manufacturing process is complete. Other operations, such as heli-coiling and assembly, may also be taken on by this department within our local facility. Finishing is done last, whether the client chooses to apply industry-graded paint or powder-coating and anodizing to achieve the correct color, texture, or protective layer of coating for the finished product.
